Northern Lights theater

Northern Lights Theater is one of the most important trademarks of the Skábmagovat festival – it is completely made of snow and ice. Theater is located in Siida’s Open-Air Museum. Area is historically valuable and it’s protected under the Antiquities Act. That’s why you need to walk along marked trails on your way to the theater. You find the start of the path on the right side of the museum, near the front door.

At its best, movies has been enjoyed at extreme temperature of over -30 degrees Celsius. Skábmagovat provides cushions on snow benches, but still take into account the unique conditions when dressing.
